Dramatic Irony in Frankenstein could be in some of these quotes:
"I will be with you on your wedding-night" (Shelly, 123).
This is said by the monster to Victor. Victor thinks that this means that the monster is going to want to kill him that night because he is so enraged on how he has been treated. But the audience can figure out that the monster actually wants to murder Elizabeth. The monster hopes that by killing Elizabeth this will hurt Victor more than if the monster would kill him. The monster knows that if he kills Elizabeth that Victor will have nothing left in his life and he might feel something similar to what the monster feels.
